Wine and ricotta cheese acquired.  B likes his mashed taters made with ricotta.

Meat smells real good.

I no longer do mashed  potatoes.  I mash potatoes, cauliflower,  and parsnips together.  Yummy

It was delish.   [drool]

I used this recipe from Jamie Oliver. 

I had cooked roast beef low and slow in the past and it always seemed dry; so the high, fast method this recipe used intrigued me.  I did remove the outer skin from the onion though as I knew we would eat them.  I even got B to eat some of the roasted garlic, which he usually won't touch.

I was the best roast beef I have ever cooked.
