Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

I'm really debating which bike to bring

Or both.

Or if I can get tjr178 to come along, which bike to bring.

There's certainly better stuff to be had higher than that
the 620's respond well to whipping them harder

The KTM would be better for the street ride.

The 999 would be a hoot on the track.

I don't need a whole lot more than 6 around here. Besides that, its more forgiving of throttle misapplication when you ride below the torque peak.

I know, but, she's still not fully sorted out and I'm waiting on the new tires, still have the front from the accident that is missing a bit of about 1/2" on one side ... and chain is not very trustable[has a kink that wont go away ... waiting on answer from vendor regarding 14T/48T&chain ...

Plus I'll need to get the case savers to install for when I replace the whole kit ...

Agreed but here's what I keep coming back to:

My last twos track days I wrecked and I suspect I have some mental hurdles to get over in that respect.

I am very comfortable and very fast on the ktm. And its so much more crash worthy that I'm really not afraid to crash it.

It's no easier/harder to crash a Duc/KTM.

Get over it. ;D

Its not about easy or hard

And more about cost to repair.

Give me a little more time to acclimate to it. I'm just starting to get into the groove
