I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Welcome to Seattle!

no wonder the suicide rate is so high there.

i really dont' think i could handle it all the time.
at least here i know we'll eventually have a stretch of no rain and sun. even if it's 95 degrees and 100% humidity.

I'm tired of the evolution of the project that was supposed to be finalized in February and all the problems with trying to coordinate ALL aspects of this project...

I'm happy I told my boss that I wouldn't be ready to leave back to the work site till Tuesday next week.  I get the long weekend w/my G/F doing a little 'vacationing'...

Oh well, ok.  I'm done pregnant dogin'.

evening
looks like it won't be raining tomorrow, what a rarity lately.
Hope the long weekend gets some of that too.

well... i had a day... not a good one, but a day.
on my way to drop my car off for service this morning, i got rear ended  >:(
i was sitting in traffic and a State of CT mini van driven by some old timer slams me.
i heard him lock 'em up, looked in the rear view, and bam there it is.

i pull over, he follows, we both get out, and he tries to tell me that it will buff right out  [laugh] [clap] right. bumper is broken, exhaust system is smashed in, and the back end is low. i tell him i'm calling it in. the first of the state troopers get there, and asks us first if we're ok, then asks us for our paperwork.... the old timer can't find his state issued insurance and registration  [roll] a half hour later, and 2 additional state trooper cars, i am given the report, with the instructions to call my insurance and have them work it out with the state. i am released from the scene.

i proceed to the dealership for my scheduled maintenance, and tell them to inspect for damage, and i'll try to get an agent from the state to come take a look. well, let's just say that this isn't going to be easy... they are being VeRY difficult.  >:(

so i proceed to work, with a courtesy car, and join my first meeting already in progress  :-\ then, my best friend at the office get's fired for not agreeing to go to Bulgaria the week before her wedding.

so after work, i go to pick up the car, and the state didn't show up to look at the damage. i have to wait a week for the official report.  [bang] why is everything so difficult? i guess the only good thing is, i can drive the car for now.

i get home, and on the way in, i see the biggest make the beast with two backsing spider ever!!! why today? why?  :'(

without the bad days, we don't have a good reference point to view the average day as actually being pretty damn good

Oh crap 'Tini!  SOOOOooooo sorry about that spider!

;)

Seriously, you win the "worst day" award today.  And unfortunately, it sounds like it's going to drag on
for longer than it needs to.

(Because you know that spider's still lurking...)    ok, sorry, really!    [evil]

Ok, gotta go do the dinner thing w/the group from this class I'm in this week.

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.
