Ning all! Looks like the weather on east coast may actually stay dry for a few days  [bang]....or at least just scattered thunderstorms.

afterning all ...

Hot humid day, put 360kms on Gina today ... Felt good but, way too hot and humid, sweat drops were falling into my eyes ... Used 2 bandanas  today ... usually wear one to not sweat the liner too mcuh but today ... The liner is in the washer ... Thanks God I have another helmet to wear tomorrow ...

something about the terrain breaks storms up right before the get here and they come back together after
not saying it won't be bad here but it's not usually as bad as it can be

Sort of like us in Panama, we don't get full force hurricanes hit us, but, we do get their tails above us for very long periods of time ...

Just hope for the best ... don't want your box ending up in Oz ... ;)

Grill 'em first.

Caramelize those sugars.

Sweet plus spicy is a great combo.

Fried plantains work well with spicy, too. Preferably the young starchy ones, then they're like french fries.

Cubans and Dominicans called them 'tostones' we call 'em Patacones ...

Actually I've tried ripe plantains not bananas with a habanero spread ... niice!
