well, tomorrow the masonry worker comes in to finish up the plumbing work that was done here . . . Floor slab, pre-tensed or somethng like that, floor/ceiling part is done, now just patch up bathrooms walls and get the tiles on . . . next step, garage floor . . .

Well, my boss[OK, the guy that sends me money every month], knows I am logged from way earlier than I should to way later than I should . . .

Plus my office is like 50ft from my bed.. . . . .

i had this discussion with mine last week.
the answer is no. it's expected that we do those things.

i said "if you are going to draw such a hard line about 8:30 am, i'm gone at 5. don't ask me to stay late."

for some reason that wasn't recieved well.

best advice I ever got from my supervisor (years ago... and things were even pretty good back then): "Don't ever do anything for free in this place."
