I had squeaky door hinges on the bathroom door. Im out of WD-40 or small cans of oil.
Hinge pins got removed and coated with axel grease. That ought to last a long time.

I don't know it meets Ford Spec M-1C75B.

I have Bel Ray synthetic down at my Dads house.
This stuff is from NAPA

DarkMonster620

why Ford specs . . . should it not be MIL Spec? in your case?

Ok, off to lunch, my ride/drive is here.

Could be either...

it's high temp extreme pressure Lithium based..

Probably adequate for door hinges. ;D

the door is opened a lot and with speed. Regular lubricants won't last.

Cause thats what I have out there. The Bel Ray conforms to some kind of MIL spec. But the NAPA stuff is a high temp lithium based grease and i bet Mr. painter has a can of it that he's looking at right now.

It might not hold up but I use it on my Gate Kingpin anyway. You know the kind that just go into the ground and keep the gate closed.

The spec was written for wheel bearings.

I think it will work for almost anything.

Im thinking it might work on Aircraft landing Treadmills.

Im often Amazed at the stuff they have in the back room at NAPA. And if they dont have it they can usually get it by the next morning.

I might have to use some of that grease to make the Blue tooth adapter on my radio work with the iPad
