I just find the F1 scene, the Indy car scene...IRL...etc... really elitist...and not from the fans perspective, but rather the organizers, the teams, and the drivers.

They aren't what they think they are.

Look at how the drivers that have moved to NASCAR have performed.

They still put their pants on one leg at a time.

Maybe they should try Speedway...and learn their shit stinks.

I don't worry about the Politics, I just watch the racing.
I just cant be bothered about weather China Occupies Tibet, Gorge Takei is gay, or weather our own Government is trying to pull the rug out from under us.

As long as Joy Comes back with the the dog and I can keep the lights on till the end of civilization as I know it, that's what I'm going to do and try not to hurt anyone along the way.

In other news I'm planning a long ride on the Monster to Idaho in September. Dog and Wife stay home.  :)

Sunday is the spelling bee! Going to Town Hall to watch a bunch of kids spell. Semi finals or such for the big national spelling bee. I have wanted to go to on ever since watching Spellbound.

I will! Sitting here planning my next tattoo. I have decided on an arm band charm bracelet. The 8th Air Force symbol will be there!  It was that or that of the SAC. Might still use that one.

..had fun with the boys... we went to Bunnings and bought a car load of PVC pipe... came home and built a soccer goal (some knob felled a tree on top of the old one)...  kicked the ball around...  and generally congratulated ourselves on the awesomeness of our build  ;D
