It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Night Carlos. 

Defied local LEO directions and got out and played in the snow in the truck.  Got a few pictures, nothing fancy, just some local snowy scenery.

I'm not a morning person.

When I need coffee I'm also simultaneously incapable of actually making coffee. managing to brew up a pot of hot water is common here.

This morning I took the carafe out of the maker and bounced it off the cook top, shattering it. I knew, right then, I should go back to bed, but proceeded on.

Next, I cleaned up, and busted out the aeropress. This has sat so long the rubber plunger shrank. I didn't know this. Upon going to force the coffee through the filter I instead did my best coke and mentos impression with my coffee, thus spraying scalding hot liquid on my bare feet.

I considered bed again.

I added water to the remaining coffee that somehow found it's way into my cup, and drank a mouthful of grounds. I strained it into another cup and managed to get some in me.

Dropped big kid off, stopped and got coffee with little kid. Put coffee on roof of car, strap kid in, close door, knock coffee over.

The kids are in bed and I'm not getting off this couch.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
