Sounds like my work.  Being a teacher makes it really hard to miss work.  I can't tell you how sick I've been and stil drug my arse out of bed at 0430 because NOBODY will sub for a morning school bus driver.

ehh, bummin because I think I've made up my mind. Now, I'm just stuck until I can move on. Knowing I've got 2+ years is a bit of a pain. But, having markers along the way helps. Right now, I keep thinking 14 months.

It'll be a shame to leave Japan. I do enjoy the country. And, I've met a nice girl that I enjoy spending time with.

I've heard good things about Japan and being there.  Sounds like you've got things in order and lined up, but it is a pain to have to wait around ~

ehh, it is. I"ll survive though. Just refocusing to save $$$ and get everything I own paid off and completely free before walking away. Odds are I'll be clean before I leave here. THan, I can just use the extra year to get as much into the "+" as possible to set myself up.
