I got a call from the hospital's "financial adviser" yesterday.  Since I don't have insurance, I might be on the hook for $12,000.   :P   [bang]

She's sending me a "packet" to fill out and return with the last 3 months' pay stubs.  If I do everything correctly, and qualify, most if not all of the bill may be written off by the hospital.

[fingers crossed]

good luck with that BJ :) my fingers are crossed for you too

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Finished the trim work on the shed today.

Then I primed it.

Then I got real ambitious and did the first coat.

From the house, it matches the other structures. Not bad for a guess on paint color.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

How is it if you rip a piece of trim off and lay it against another building? [evil]

It'd be fine if I painted the other building first  :D

Over the past three day I managed to maneuver around a few hundred miles of southern californian super slab and I didn't get run over! Despite the fact I was stuck on the highway I am rather pleased with myself. [moto]
