Thanks all for the kind words!    It's settling in now and I have an official 'offer letter' in my email inbox to prove it. 

I'm stoked and trying to remain humble as I know this job is a rare thing in this town, and rarer still that it was given to a guy w/ZERO experience in this particular field...just demonstrated aptitude, a technical mind, strong mechanical and electrical background and rugged good looks.

I'll be looking for an apartment of my own here shortly with hopefully a 6-9 mo. lease and then at that point I'll take a shot @ the housing market here in ABQ.
