I went to Crockett and Macallum w/Sr year of HS in Round Rock....moved around alot.....then joined the army and finally retired here in Weatherford after 24 years. I still keep in touch with some friends from those times. I keep one bike in Austin and just got my new bike for here. I like riding 2222 in Austin.

I lived in Austin for almost 10 years and learned how to ride my moto there. There's no place like Austin. 2222 is a fun road to strafe down

620 around the lake was good but that was in the early 70s when it was still a po-dunk two lane farm to market. Don't even recognize it now.

Bee Caves used to be good too... "used to" being the operative words.

I bought it over the phone while overseas and had it delivered to my house. It was delivered the day after the big ice storm and of course I had to ride it up and down my road. Needless to say, I had it sideways with one mile on the odometer. Its a Tricolore....can't remember the number (I came back over here a couple days later) I think its 145 or 147. I did buy a pearl/red tank, tail, fairing for it. I will keep the Tricolore set as pristine as I can. I really like the pearl/red, but it wasn't available with the gold wheels/frame. I can't wait to get home to ride it. Hopefully I can get up with some of you folks as well.

I had a nice glass (or two) of some Lagavulin 16 and sat out by a nice fire on (what turned out to be) a brisk evening....It was as nice as it gets over here.
