Yesterdays ride up through Ebbetts pass.  Fantastic scenery.  Link to more about the area.

I just took my Duc up to meet & camp @ Burnside Lake with some buddies weekend before last!  We usually head to lower Sunset Lake area, but road wasn't open yet (I think they just did)

200 miles, followed by 6 miles of dusty azz washboard rocky dirt road... brutal, and totally worth it!

beautiful up in dem dar woods.

Took my first real ride of the season on Sunday. Up and over Cameron Pass to Walden, had lunch, then rode back the same way.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

I could swear that is Mt. Bachelor in the first picture.  Near Bend, OR.  Me likes that area!  Nice pictures!

duc_zach

Sure is! Bachelor in the 1st pic, then smith rock, Paulina lake area, and Prinneville reservoir.

If it is, it looks better on the Monster.

My untrained eyes says it is a V-rod headlight.  I would love to know if it is bright.....

I make the beast with two backsing hate my stock headlight even with aftermarket bulbs it is little better than a candle in a strong wind.

Not wanting to stray too far, but it's amazing that I can put a fancy bulb in my old girl's headlight and it's not bad. I hope that's fully resolved on the new bikes.

The V Rod light does look great and reminds me of the Brutale.

Agreed reminds me of the brutality as well. I've wanted a V-Rod headlight for a long time but they're so damn expensive.

Yep, its a HD Vrod (or Nightrod) headlight.  If you look at my brother's bike parked next to me, you'll notice that we have the same headlight  [thumbsup]  His is OEM since he has a HD Nightrod.

Haha thanks.  I won't tell my brother that...

I never did a side by side comparison, since my stock headlight was broken when I bought the bike (it was totaled in an accident).  I'm running a regular halogen bulb and it seems to be plenty bright and focused enough for night riding.  My one complaint is that the bright beams SUCK.  Not sure if that's because of the bulb, or the housing.
