Hey gals, guys and gargoyles!

Some High Desert Hooligan news for you...

1)  Thanks to Vicki Smith (DNA) and Marco Rimondi (Ducati Italy), all of the renewal paperwork is complete (3 copies of my DNA and my left nutt needed), you will see us listed (our gargoyle even) on Ducati.com shortly.  This is exciting news.  Especially if we go to Italy for WDW as we talked about last year.  The benefits of being a DOC are many. (this is what we get access to in the USA, the website and DOC paperwork list all the “official” benefits but some help the euro clubs more because they are closer to the factory).  Here it’s verbal as well as literal access to the factory, a shorter string so to speak.  Between Marco and Vicki we have access to information, invitations to private signings and meetings with the CEO and other factory “big brains” , plus we have access to help with events, etc.  Direct benefits include Foremost insurance discounts, the DesmoRosso program (touring Italy on Ducatis for discounted rates!!) and Project Mugello at Indy which you need to be a DOC member to participate in.

2) Shirts are ordered and will be completed April 3rd!!  They are pretty damn good quality screen printing!   I ordered based on your requests, and put up all the money, so please be sure to pay me.  I prefer paypal or cash (my bank isnt around these parts so checks is a pain in the ass), so just PM me for the account or address to send cash.  To refresh our memories, here are what you requested. (w is a woman's cut).  If you didnt get your order to me and still want a shirt, no worries, as you can see I bought extra under my name for just that reason.  I will have way too many shirts for me...so pass the word for those FNG's that want them.  Cost turned out to be only $12 because I got us over 30 shirts!  cooolio.  Once I get paid, I will send out a box to one of you to distribute on DucNite.

3) As part of the Ducati Owners Club registration, I put down the link to the NMMR section of the DMF for our club web site.  However, some have posted recently that they are not really digging the rules of the DMF and may wish to have our own chat forum or website as the CDC, Hoosier Hooligans, etc have done..   This is fine, but that means we will start to have to pay dues to cover it and someone other than me, has to volunteer to set it up and maintain it.  What are your thoughts?  Discuss

Miss you guys and hope to be back soon.
