May 28- June 2 LYD Trip Lots of pics added!!!!

Great pics! Some of them had me in stitches!! Looks like a killer ride with some really beautiful scenery, you guys were lucky to make that trip. How many miles was it to get up there and how long did it take? I also like the No Suzuki Riders on the dry marker board!! Duc Pond shop looked pretty cool too. By the way LYD... those are some really trick looking inspection sticker plates you got there! Are those legal in WV?? [moto]

Yes they are.  actually you can put the sticker anywhere you want.  he was going to put it under the seat, but since I had a really good friend get them for me, I thought why not use them.(which as soon as DucPond gets more shirts in, I will get you one)   But it was such a great time!!!!  it says its about 1300 miles, and the boys did it in about  19 hours.  The roads were awesome!!!  we even got a little wet the first day, but nobody really cared!  Mindy even lead us on day 1 and she did an awesome job!

some quick notes from the trip. the roads and scenery are second to none. the drive up is easy as long as you have a couple of comedians with you and the conversations are hiliarious. mindy and alan are very gracious hosts as most of you know. my only complaint would be why more of us who told him when he was leaving that we would come visit haven't. you know who you are and excuses just dont fly with me. if you told him you would then do it (especially if you claim he is your friend) and i promise you will not be disappointed. you know he would do the same for one of us!!

that makes me sound sad and lonely, well I am!!!  I really miss you guys!!  But if you have the time and can get a couple of others who want to come up for some good times,  COME ON UP!!!

I feel like Chris is calling me out! I would love to go but I just can't sell that to "she who must be obeyed"! It was all I could do to worm my way into an Arkansas trip the first week of May with some non-DMF friends... only to bail out when the weather in AR was nothing but thunderstorms. They went and yes they got poured on.

The scenery in the photos is awesome. Beats the hell out of north TX. Maybe when I finally land a job and a certain someone gets off my back I will have a life again... hopefully it will include motorcycle rides!

brian, bring her with!  this way mindy has someone here and we can go ride the real fun stuff.  Dont get me wrong, mindy lead us on friday and she did a great job!  abd she went with us to DC on saturday, but her skills need some improving, she is a little scared to lay it over (at all) so she is slower in the turns.  But on Sunday when she didnt go we played and we played kinda hard, not scott's hard, but you could have if you wanted to.

hey...i'm slow in the corners, too...so it was all good.  great times all weekend, can't say it enough.  thanks again to both of you for having us around   

and i'm really craving some queso right now...  i was killing that leftover supply on the ride home...  and i'll try to get pics uploaded to my flickr tonight.
