Bi-coastal (introduction)

hey folks,

i grew up in NYC since 1972 so i would consider myself a new yawka. i've done a bunch of work in LA the past 10 years or so but i would just travel there then come back home.
but the past year and a half i've had enough work that i had to rent a room in LA. i bought my Foggy there just about a year ago and it currently lives in LA 

i've been bi-coastal for work reasons and i can't afford another duc at the moment so the Foggy will have to remain as my left coast bike. i would love to get her over here but i would surely miss her when i'm in LA and she's my only form of transportation when i'm out there. here in NY i've got my BMW R1100S which is a completely different beast but a great bike all the same.

can i be a NYMMC DMF'er without my duc in NY

biggest difference between the left coast and the best coast are the incredible variety of woman. and that's just in one square mile in manhatten. the amount of good restaurants and bars in a 5 block radius in the lower east side is like all of downtown LA!
