I just bought the Parrot SK4000 from a seller on eBay (it shipped today).  It does the A2DP thing, but the iPhone doesn't yet (June, maybe).  It has a handle-bar mounted remote, stereo ear speakers, FM radio and a line in jack.  Also, it gets good reviews from what I've read.

Obviously it would cost more, but has anyone found any good in-ear headphones with active noise cancellation? The benefits to a motorcyclist regarding wind and engine noise are fairly obvious I think.... I've worked really hard to get "the quietest helmet," but it doesn't do any good. I'm looking for another miracle solution now!

Aftermarket: RoadRacing modified under-engine exhaust, revalved 996 forks, ProCutting half-open clutch, CC triple and pressure plate, 999 clipons, BMC filter, CRG-LS mirrors, PC3, Rizoma rearsets, heated grips, +2 teeth in rear gearing, Veypor VR2 computer, MBP collets, Yoyodyne slave, Galfer waves front and rear, misc CF (mostly faded), CRG clutch/brake levers.

Oh, one thing that I'm not sure if it's been mentioned in the other threads.

When you put your buds in, yawn and try to pop your ears a bit. It'll help you get the buds in nice and good so they don't shift. Then make sure your cords have enough slack that they don't pinch and yank the bud out of your ear when you shoulder check.

The end is in sight! Gotta buckle down and get to work!

Active noise cancellation doesn't work on a moto, because the wind noise where the microphone is is so much different than where your ears are.  (there's an article about it somewhere if you do a google search)  I was disappointed too.

I think that's true for 2 way comms systems that try to use the speaking mic for noise cancellation (like plane/helicopter setups), but the top end in-ear phones with active cancellation have mics mounted on each earphone, and reportedly work quite well.

Active cancellation for the mic (not earphones) on two way moto setups also works properly too - from what I'm told it's the only way to get a two way setup to be useable at all above 50mph or so...

big (all hearsay, I've never personally used any of that gear...)

im using the shure se530 with the PTH module.

I only use the module on group rides so i dont have to take out the earplugs to talk to people.   They are sorta big so you have to finesse your helmet on but they do an excellent job of isolating wind noise.

When we make stops, i just turn on the module (which i tuck under my jacket) and have normal conversations.

Its also great for airplane rides... no need to take out your earplugs to tell the nice lady what you want to drink  [beer]

I'm not a HUGE fan of the skull candy ear buds...they seem really big to me and they seem to get a lot of muffled feedback type noise whenever the cord touches anything.

For the last year and a half I had a pair of bass frequency headphones from V-Moda (google it if you're curious). They were SUPER nice, great sound, and the first headphones I've ever owned that I didn't blow out from listening to music too loud (I know, I'll be deaf soon).

V-Moda has a few different levels of ear buds...I know a few people who have the next step up from the bass frequency and are pleased with them.

They sell for $50 on their website, but can be found other places for cheaper (again, google).

They also offer a one time replacement free under warranty.

The only down side to these that I've found is that one of the buds is now cutting out on me from somewhere in the cord...I'm blaming myself though for not taking the greatest care of them...stuffing them in my pocket etc.

That being said, they are still the best sound out of any headphones I've ever owned.
