enjoying the afternoon squalls, riding in the rain, dodging lightnening bolts.

Have you sold the V-strom?  Some guy was on the main board posted  a thread "Pondering a Goldwing" for touring purposes.  You probably already saw it.  I recommended the V-strom and posted a couple pictures of you and Dusty on your bikes.  I'm still in the process of a refi on the house in Colorado Springs and waiting on the insurance settlement  so holding off on major purchases for a bit.

What else...my freezer went out last night while I was at work and my entire green chile stock is at risk.  Thank the Lord it is almost chile season again if the worst happens.  Waiting on the maintenance man now.  Googled it and already checked all the obvious.  I have at least 40 quarts in there.

I leave for work today at 5:30.  My chile is thawed, but cold still so it is still good.  You are welcome to stop by and pick up as many bags as you can use.  I'm going to try to refreeze it if the guy can get the freezer fixed or a new one in here before it turns on me.  I know it probably won't be as good , but I am an addict  plus I have a castiron stomach so I can eat anything without getting sick (famous last words).     If anyone else wants some, stop by before I go to work.  I hate to see it go to waste.  Or give me a call and I will leave some on the porch in a cooler for you.

Hey Bonfy.  Long time no see . . .  or ride.  Tried to go to Riudoso last Monday.  Got about 15 miles out from Carrizozo and had lightning bolts to the left of me.  Lightning bolts to the right, lightning bolts in front.  Said, OK.  A different day may be better.  Still got rained on on the way back on Rt 380.  I just beat converging storms trhought the mountains.  Kept looking up for lightning, as if I was going to dodge one that a bee line for me. 
Planning on a road trip at the end of the month if finances allow.  Up through Salt Lake City to the Tetons and Yellowstone and then back down through Colorado and take some of those you just burned up.  Any recommendations  . . .  and don't say all of them.
Looking for a DUC night.  If one ever gets posted  . . .  You know what I mean.
