Jacksonville is at 59F starting today at 45F, time to get to tracks...Have been busy getting things together on the track SV...playing with fiberglass, bondo and sanding tools. Fairings and tanks are almost there, need to start bending, grinding steel to make custom mounts. There are many ways to lose extra pounds, power tools help! ;D

Let the grinding commence!!!!!   [evil]

Following Cloner's advice, we got a plane and flew out here Sat night. Sunday night in NY, it snowed.

Between trying to earn a living and working on this house, I hope we have some time to hang and ride. Anyone around this evening, stop by 4605 Jupiter and enjoy an adult beverage. The very precocious Duck-Stew and his beautiful wife Rosemary will be by.

I also promise not to stick a paint brush in your hand.

After a lot of sweat and work in swampy FL garage, the SV race bike is almost there...rode it this weekend after final assembly and felt good. Will be registering for track and give it a thorough test. Ordered some heat wraps and shields to stop the exhaust from burning through fiber glass belly pan. Some tires and its ready to see some track pavement! [thumbsup] [Dolph]

Thanks! I'll let you know how it really works when I finish Jenings GP on 26th...Taking both bikes there so I can really see how the Duc outperforms! [cheeky]

I am trying to get in touch with Gratefulduc (Larry). I sent him a message a few weeks back, but never got a reply. I was thinking there was a  problem with the Board's message feature.
Anyway...

I'd like to make arrangements to have my '01 M900 shipped from NY to ABQ next week. I thought Larry would have info on shipping companies. Barb & I will be lflying out Friday the 30th, so I'd like to get the bike picked up before then.

So, if Larry reads this, or any of you have contact with him, or if any of you have had postivie experiences with shipping companies, email me: nicrosato2@gmail.com.

Thanks.

This has been a hectic 3-weeks here in ABQ, what with family functions and work. Not much riding for fun- just errands, especially the last few days after the radiator on Barb's Beemer let go and put the car into the shop. As usual, the Hooligans rallied at the slightest hint of us needing help.

Zaster and Pam & Mousalicious and Matt came over a few weeks ago to help me cut up the wood to make a Murphy bed. Karl & Matt provided woodworking assistance, Pam cooked (yess!) and Krystal made sure the wine glasses weren't empty.

Since I had a house full of guests and all kinds of family functions, the Murphy bed did not get built. So, I am returning solo Aug 18-28 to complete it AND do some riding, Too late for Ouray, but I have stuff going on back East and cannot get out out here sooner.

I hope to ship my other Monster so it's here in August.

I miss seeing some of you: Stew spends too much time on the road for is job and I haven't set eyes on Cloner in a while.  After August, Barb & I will both be back the last weekend in Sept for 3 weeks.

As some of you who know us probably guessed, we're fixing to bail on NY and slit our time between ABQ and SW Florida. Need to get the house n NY prepped for sale, so we still have lots going on.

Good news for us, bad news for New York.  Eh....fugg 'em!

Too bad you're not around this weekend.  My Dad is coming in this evening and you two might hit it off.  Oh, well.  See you in August!

FYI- my '01 M900 arrived 2 days after I returned East. My neighbor put it in the living room.

I'll be in Albuquerque from Dec 2 to Dec 8. I"ll take care of the paperwork on the bike and will hopefully finish the last bit of work on the Murphy bed that I seemed to have made a career out of building.
