Welcome to endless summer...so much so that this week has been a bit annoying with temp soaring to almost 80F! Our HVAC unit sure is confused.. [roll]

Will let you know I end up on your side of coast in near time... [thumbsup]

I always thought I was short a few parts...  :P

Hmmmm.  Stu always told me you had a few short parts.  Did I misunderstand?   ;D

Our time here in SW Florida is coming to a close. We were so happy to share this place with some of our ABQ buddies who came to visit- Pam & Karl, Rosemary & Stew. Great memories: Pam in the kitchen, Ro & Stew's very special gin & tonics (which I named "GTO's" for gin-tonic-overdrive).

Barb will be flying directly to Albuquerque the 25th. I have the job of driving the automobile back to NY (with a stop in Georgia to visit grandkids), then flying out to ABQ on the 31st.

I am very revved to get out west, to see as many of you as I can, to throw a leg over my Duc and enjoy life.

Nic,

We await your arrival with a bottle of vino and a plethora of stories littered with lies...  Can't wait to catch up w/you again!

Lies are not litter: They are carefully crafted variations of reality.

Pam and I are looking forward to spending time with you guys  [thumbsup]

Have any of you ridden from ABQ to Austin, TX? I have several reasons for wanting to go there. Thinking I might do it in September. Perhaps take 2 days each way & spend 2 days in the city. I was wondering if there was a scenic route.

Next question:

A friend here in Florida (who's visited us in ABQ) told me about a place on Central in Nob Hill called Shade Tree Customs & Cafe. Evidently the cafe is on the 2nd floor and the custom shop on the first.

Anyone check this place out?  Curious...
