Looks like quite an interesting ride!

I took a big run North yesterday  - Rhinelander, Woodruff, Minoqua, Eagle River, Antigo and back home - 363 miles.  I might as well have went to Chicago the way the traffic was in Minoqua.  You know what they say - Wisconsin - Illinois largest state park.  Hwy 49 from Waupaca to Hwy 29 is a nice ride.  The road surface is pretty good, the scenery is nice and there are some nice sweepers along with a goodly amount of technical curves and very little traffic.  Hwy 70 between Woodruff and Eagle River is very scenic - it goes along the headwaters of the Wisconsin River.  The Island Cafe in Minoqua is a great place for Greek food.

I'm planning another ride up that way, going to Bayfield, Superior, Hayward etc sometime this summer.

This isn't a dress rehearsal for life - this is it!
