I have a dilema, turns out that tonight is the monthly SouthWest MotorSports (SWMS) board meeting at 6:30. i'm thinking Mario's is sounding more fun, but I can't decide.
Also, i'm reasonably sure someone slashed my rear tire while I was eating at olive garden yesterday. When I got home, flipped on my air compressor to air it up, and the circut breaker tripped, but it won't reset. (what a night) Anyone recommend an electrician?

no someone that hates ya?

Hey Los,
Try this for your circuit breaker problem.   ???

Turn off any appliances, air conditioners...and your compressor that are on this circuit.  Then if the breaker is in the halfway position which it usually is, push it completely to the "off" position and then completely back to the "on" position.   This should reset the breaker   :D

Unless the breaker itself is faulty, the trip probably occurred because the air compressor was tyring to start at the same time as other devices were drawing power.   [popcorn]

If you get the breaker to work, but the compressor still trips it, then try an unloaded line/socket closer to your circuit box.  It may be the length of line path that is causing voltage drop and therefore more current draw that trips your air compressor.  Avoid long or skinny exension cords.    [popcorn]

I hope this "fixes" your problem.    [thumbsup]

Sorry about the tire......  do you have any angry ex's??....    [evil] [evil]

Well, I tried to reset the breaker, just like you said, but it still won't reset.  ??? i'm guessing that the breaker needs to be replaced. Come to think of it, that whole box was installed a year ago... hmmmm... time to make some phone calls.
As far as the tire, I dont have any enemies that i'm aware of... probably just some jealous wanker with a knife. >:(

Several weeks ago the "Tues" group debated the "flashing speed sign" technology limits.  Since then the dirty, rotten, nameless and shameless contractor that I used to gather data, has awarded "brews" to the following vandals.....  [laugh]    [beer]

Los-  for the best guess   ;D
KB-   for the best tech explanation, the most cop friends and for the most Avatar changes in a two week period.   [cheeky]
Cloner- for being the best....well, I suppose "Cloner Replica" in the bunch.   8)
Stu-  for the highest posting on such flashing signs.....  [leo]    [laugh]

I will be at Mario's Tuesday, tonight, until 7:15 - 7:30 PM or until the last dog fades yelping into the distance, to make these awards......

Come late,  come early... or ... send your duly authorized representative in the black limo... to collect.   [laugh]

i think we started to go early...for happy hour maybe? or cause the later it gets the harder from some of us to come out since it is a drive home for some of us? it can be several reasons...

personally i dont mind it early...get there before the crowd, and get home and get stuff before bed...i know some of us gotta get up at the butt ass crack of dawn [laugh]

but even by 7 alot of us are still there...its only an hour difference  [beer]
