Just read Motopia's newsletter and it looks like our friendly neighborhood Duc mechanic Randy McCarter will now be operating out of the Motopia garage.

Yepper, you read it here first ;D

I believe they are finalizing agreements today, & it might be a coupla weeks before he's fully up-and-running.

Coupla great bennies- MotoPia is a Parts Unlimited AND a Tucker Rocky distributor, so you can get all the parts you need at great prices!

Also, you do NOT have to be a MotoPia member to have your bike worked on. You can also eat/drink/hang out in MotoPia while you're there [thumbsup]

Oh, also I think he'll be open all day Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays, & other days by appointment [thumbsup]

Also, as far as I understand, he's really going to be operating his own business (Motopia is leasing him the facilities) so he's going to need some word-of-mouth help from his satisfied customers!

Outstanding! He'll be right in my neighborhood! [thumbsup] I'll miss the journey to the warehome and petting on Zoe while my scooters are worked on. [laugh] Nice that we can eat and drink without being members too. Although I will also miss sneaking drinks out of Scott's frig! [drink]

Someone (anyone) needs to post up when he's up and running.

Very good news, and I agree we need to talk up Randy's new location and skills.  With that location, he's my guy.

Anyone have a phone number for his shop?

Thanks.

I will pass along the info I get through the Motopia channels (I am a Motopia member  - joined primarily for Cresson track access, Parts Unlimited deal, and the location is great though not as conveniently located for me).

Lisa and I cleaned our bikes on the Spring '08 H.C. trip after running through rain and dusty roads one day and I can definitely attest to her attention to detail. This sounds like a great fit Lisa. Congrats!  [thumbsup]
