Ok, just checking to see if there is anyone interested in either attending the Denton round of the Texas MiniGP Championship on July 25/26. I should be racing if not at least pitting for some friends of mine.

Also, I'm planning on going to the Ridesmart trackday at ECR on Aug 15. I know it's a ways away but that is the one the schedule works with. Plus, it's free! Did I mention I won the trackday prize at Motoliberty's event?

Just found out there is a trackday at ECR by Ridesmart on Aug 1 and 2.

Just in case that changes minds.

The MiniGP sounds interesting and Denton isn't far for me to travel.  So, I'm a maybe for MiniGP (spectating).
You can live to 100 if you give up all the things that make you want to live to 100.

Have you raced TXMGP?

If not, you can on Sunday. Just not SAturday as you need 'clearance' to race in Endurance. Sprints/Rider school on Sunday.

I'll be there both days I believe. I"m planning on using the 'endurance race' to practice. I'll be doing it solo on my friend's YSR so that I can Kick A$$ on Sunday in the sprints.

It seems as if the rules will allow (with requirements met) that you can have up to 4 people on a team for endurance and maybe even the Backwards classes. The exceptions being you have to do the rider safety course, pay your money and meet tech specs and have full leathers, boots, gloves. T is your YSR in shape enough to work it into a reliable pocketbike in unlimited class? Heck, there's even a scooter class that I am sure we could do with my Aprillia.

Steve, we've talked about this a few times before, I'm thinking (again) that my son would love to do this. So I may bring him out for the race on that weekend if possible. You can probably pencil us in to come and watch Saturday.

Forgot to add " you must have raced in sprints" to your list of exceptions. However, they may giveyou a waiver if you do really well in the Rider's school/practice. I'd check into it before you haul your gear up there.

Well, I won't be hauling gear just yet but my son is all ready to race! He's been online all week ever since I told hima bout going to the races earlier this week. He says he's been wanting a pocket for a couple of years. We're going to see what's available in the area and I'm thinking of getting one after the races. We'll see how he reacts first. Can't wait to see you out there. Make sure you get me the info as to when and where you'll be so I can look you up when we get out there. What track is it again?

Doesn't the hi comp kit up the cc or is it just a re-fit? Funny you say this because I was just at AMS talking to Giannis about this very same thing. I'm thinking of putting the 70cc kit on my Scarabeo which would then make it a true 70mph scoot  [moto] Yeee Haaa. There is all sorts of aftermarket stuff for the Aprillia scoot at AF1 in San Antonio. Does Piagio make up market components for Vespas?

We could get Mark to ride the 'Pretty in Pink' some Fri-Sat night to Strokers whatdiya think?

Dax, if you get the kit and are thinking of doing the miniGP scooter series let me know.

Try this:

They should be on the left. While they do have rules, they are very flexible depending on who you are. Just FYI.
