just saw this posting on craigs list

"Tonight is Bike Nite so remember the police will be waiting for you at Fiesta Park entrance. Instead of fighting crime like recent gang shootings and meth-related activities, they choose to ticket people for rev'ing because whiny ass Mayor Marty does not like you and your bike. "

I know lots of folks got tickets for SPEEDING on the way into the park week before last.  One guy claimed to have a ticket for 29 in a 25.  Sounds like the cops are just being asses.  Like the guy on Craigslist said, shouldn't these assholes be out working to find real criminals?  Is there REALLY any danger of anyone being endangered at bike night by folks slightly exceeding the unnecessarily restrictive 25 mph speed limit on the road into the park?  If they wanna write tickets, why don't they bring a sound meter and start testing Hardley noise emissions?  They're pretty much all illegal, and damned annoying!
