Hello, my name is Jason.  I'm a new rider and new owner of a 2009 Monster 696.  This is my first bike.  I lucked out and found a used one with only 1400 miles from NYC Soho dealer.  Saved some money and got what I wanted. 

I live in Riverdale, the Bronx, work at the UN and train down on 5th and 18th so the bike is going to be used mostly for commuting.  Eventually I'll go on longer rides.

Looking forward to riding and gaining experience. 

Hoping these boards can answer all my newbie questions.
