Hey, let me know about your PC-V experience. The new Busa has two injectors per cylinder like the new Gixxers so the PCIII really doesn't hack it like it did on the older Busas. It need the PC-V. I lost my PC guru, Steve Upchurch, he left/got canned from the Yamaha shop he worked at. He probably tuned 90% of the north texas race bikes that competed in CMRA. He did awesome Power Commander work on my older Busa and GSXRs. I would really like the new Busa to be PC-V tuned for its Yosh exhaust but don't know where to turn given the loss of Steve Upchurch. Help!

go to metrictech.net website.  Ask for Dean and tell him I sent you.  He's an expert with Dyno and PC's.  He's also been National Tech Director for AMA and Certified FIM Technical Inspector.  He's an honest guy who will tell you like it is.  Beware though, if you give him shit he's good at comebacks.  I always have fun there.

I'm afraid to say that the Roadie is gone.  The trade-in was only $500 off what retail would have been and I didn't want to deal with it selling.  I would have kept it and made it a bobber if the wife would have agreed to put her car outside......obviously I lost that argument; excuse me, it was a discussion.

My wife has that same delusion. It's like her car is scared of the sunlight and outdoors. Had this discussion with folks last Saturday. If I move her car out of the garage and into the driveway so I can use that space to move a bike that needs some work I can almost guarantee you that the door to the house will be flung open within seconds with her asking how long her car will be in the driveway! I think she could be in the other end of the house, in the shower, and she'd instantly know that her car was out of the garage! It's like she has a remote motion detector and can tell if the car has been moved. I tell her that cars like being outdoors in the fresh air and it's nice for my car in the driveway to have some company... it doesn't seem to help, she doesn't believe me.

Anyway, nice deal on the trade in. Sounds like it made good sense and saved you some hassle. Always good.

I think the people we bought our house from had the same issue, they got around it by putting an extra set of doors on the garage that are too small to get a car through, and the project to remove said doors is way down on the priority list.

Oh almost forgot, Harley's are not my thing but it looks nice.

Lisa, yes I did go direct and they are wheeling and dealing there.  PM me and I'll send you the place and sales guy's name.  Young kid but his sales manager came and basically put my hand up and said I'm in sales too so he can't bullshit me.  we sat, he called the owner and ran some numbers and we shook hands.  I went to three other dealers with quotes and made him negotiate.  I must say that the dealerships are much kinder now.  I had my Roadie 9 years so that's the last time I stepped into one to buy a new one.  Too bad Marty didn't call me back on a quote for my S2R or I might...............

You're right I've already got the bra off and got her stripped down to the bare frame. Added the clip ons, I'm just blacking out the wheels, but leaving the rims chromed, and the engine now. Adding some Vannce and Hines shorty exhaust and a Fat Bob tank (I like the extra mileage) painted flat black with a rebel flag on top. Then it's a Harley!
