I bought DP carbon side thingies, side scoops, the bottom thing, and the beer tray thing.  NONE of them fit out of the box.  The beer tray thing required major refitting.  The rasp file, Dremel, and face mask are your friends.  I also bought a US made superbike cf front fender and it fit perfectly, looks great, is strong, and works.  My experience with Motowheels has been good.  Save your money.

The price dif wasnt that great maybe $30...but they continue to beat the prices of many other competitors so i def will stay with them but i just want what i pay for...

Dremel is coming out of the drawer as soon as i get the new part :)

Many DP parts (especially cabon stuff) are from third party manufacturers. Fitment is often not perfect with the aftermarket stuff. Sometimes parts require shims and sometimes gentle reshaping. In the end it makes it all the more custom when you have to do a little work yourself.

I had the same problem on an older M800--the diversion fender would rub against the forks.  I had to fiddle with it quite a bit to fix the problem.  Same deal with the shorty beer tray from the DP catalog.  Nothing seems to fit perfectly right out of the box.

I ended up using a larger size drill bit and boring out the top holes so that the top of the fender can come away from the forks..The bottom holes i left alone as they are just acting as a pivot. Looks awesome...ill see if i can post some pics (although you guys know what it looks like..) :)
