See what had happened was there was this thing called money, and I don't have enough of it to pay for a plane ticket/hotel room.  The ticket was my grad gift for graduating college but I had to pay my way to get there.  Bummer huh?  Anyway, that's the story.  If anyone wants it, snap it up quick, the race is in two weekends.
