Hello from the Road Racing Capital of the World

Hi all
My name is Dave and I live in the Isle of Man, home of the famous TT races.
I came across your forum after a fellow member of the UK Monster Owners Club forum posted a pic of Celli's bike so I thought I would come over for a look and to say hi.

Up to now most of my riding has been off road, but having moved here from Edinburgh in Scotland 6 years ago the call of the Mountain Circuit has finally become too much so I decided to buy myself a road bike. I originally went out looking to buy a soul-less japanese 600 but after touring all but one of the islands bike dealers I had found nothing that took my fancy. As I was looking around the last dealers showroom I saw a 2004 Monster 620Sie, I decided to put a deposit on it pretty much there and then, I will be collecting it from the dealer next Tuesday.

It is a completely standard well cared for bike which, in my hands will not stay standard for long. I have not got the bike yet and I am already compiling a list of parts I want that will make the bike my own.

Anyway, it is nice to meet you all and I am sure I will spend more time over here in the future
