I ride to work and school everday, which round trip adds up to about 110 miles.  Sunday rides usually last half a day with about 2 hours of riding.

I'm a 6-8hr guy. Pretty much all day and an average of 250 miles and up on the twistiest stuff I can find.  [moto]

Most sundays with guys from the NYMMC meet at 8-9am and head out and get home around 11pm.  usually 400+ miles mostly twisties.  But this isn't on the monster, it's on a 749.

During the week, I'll usually commute the 15 minutes to the ol' 9-to-5er, then take the long way home (about 50 miles)...

Saturday + Sunday, I like to ride at least 100+ miles each time I go out, often closer to 200....Six hours is a safe average, with a few breaks factored in....  [coffee]

Don't get to ride that much during the week.

On the weekends I try and shoot for at least a couple of hours at a time.

I almost never ride during the week but if I do it's about 1-2 hours.

Weekends are my riding days.  It takes about an hour to get across town to the bottom of the mountain.  We will spend 2 - 2.5 hours on the mountain.  After riding the mountain, we go get breakfast then from 30 minutes to another hour to get home.

Lessee...

So that's 4-6 hours.   [moto]

Pretty much everywhere I go I take the scooter. Average a little over 1000 mi. a month. I've been doing that since 1972.

I'm not sure I ever considered motorcycles a sport. It's a VERY sporty means of conveyance though. [moto]

well, highway to the twisties is a solid hour each way, so start with two.  two or three of actual riding, plus lunch and stops, comes to about six all included.

The usual ride after work when I go is for a couple of hours.  Sundays is an all day afair  [moto]

Hmm.  Breakfast run, maybe an hour.  Sunday ride is 2-3.  Commute is 7-10 minutes ;D

Sunday ride?  Hell, you and your bromance partner never make it due to the booze you drink the night before.   [cheeky]

Typically on weekends when we have a babysitter and can go riding, our normal day is 10-14 hours and it is not uncommon to grab a hotel for Friday and/or Saturday evening and do it all over again the next day. Just this past weekend, we rode nearly 200 miles after work on Thursday, over 200 miles after work on Friday, over 300 miles on Saturday, and over 350 on Sunday......nothing but mountain twisty roads, too.   [thumbsup]  300+ miles in the mountains is usually 8-12 hours depending on the route and how long we spend BS'ing with the people we meet or where we stop for breakfast/lunch/dinner..........a little under 20 hours for a SaddleSore 1000 was the longest we'd been on the road in a single day.....we logged over 1600 miles in two days, that weekend.

I tend to go out in the AM and come back around 4-5pm.  It will be 8 hours + some days.  I like to go on some pretty extended rides.  My next one is to Charleston WV and back.  8+ hours.  I only go out on short trips when i've got more of an errand to do or i'm riding to work.  Most trips are at least 4+ hours.  There are some awesome roads very close to my house - no reason to sit on the sofa!!  [thumbsup]
Can you imagine a world without a Ducati???  I think it's called Hell. :)

Beyond summer commuting (we have winter here) 25 minutes each way, it tends to be 1 to 2 hour stints on the back roads around home.

One or 2 weekend jaunts, and starting last summer trying for one major event trip a year.  Last summer it was 14 days out in the NW and rockies.  Did about 5400 miles.  But I cheated, rode the FJR.
