Saw it too.  The mods knew because it sounded they had done everything possible to keep the board looking the same and not going to the "Vertical Scope" format that all of their purchased sites have gone to ~

I hope you remember the good old smf DML days, they are gone forever. 

The dml mods got to see a 'preview' of the new VS vbulletin dml site, and it looks just like ducati.ms - suprise.

Sounds JUST like where eSportbike went.  We even have a Ride of the Month contest over there now...

If all the forums essentially look the same/are the same....eventually why wouldn't they just have one large board that breaks down into smaller baby boards.  They could probably charge their advertisers even more money for reaching a much wider audience or break it down individually for more targeted vendors.  The whole thing is just so horribly commercial.
