Newbie in NW CT

Hey, y'all, I'm Rob.  Live in Torrington, CT.  I have a 2008 S2R1000 I bought last Fall.  Still getting used to it, but it's the best bike I've owned.  The Ducati is my only current motorcycle, but I've been riding since 1983, and have owned a Kawasaki CSR 250, Honda V45 Magna, and Kawasaki ZRX1100.

Despite all the years riding, this Ducati is the first bike whose abilities are clearly above my own, so I want to to a lot of riding and learning.  Thinking about taking one of those "superbike school" courses, and trying out some track days (which I do in my car with the Audi club).  Track = Good.

I'm bringing beer and bacon to the housewarming:   Why not?

Here's a photo of my baby in Portland, ME a couple of weeks ago.  Rode up there to eat at a restaurant called Duckfat.  That tells you quite a lot about me.    Hope to see you on the road.
