"Gleaming the Cube"

don't know how well this would hold up, was just a kid when I saw it but thought it was cool then - but then I thought Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo was cool too  [laugh]

Yeah, just keep it in your mind that you enjoyed it, and don't bother going back.

For a good skater flick - Lords of Dogtown.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Smiling End

Blue Velvet.  Crazy story, crazy performance by Dennis Hopper.  I first saw it during class in college and couldn't believe what I was watching.

David Lynch scares me.

I have never been able to understand any of his movies, but I guess that is the point, right?

Pump up the volume. Slater as Happy Harry Hard-on.

for my gen and younger (34+/-5) : Hud a profound explanation of our current instant gratification selfish culture with Paul Newman leading the way

nostalgia pick: Red Dawn it almost holds up if only commies and cubans werent as scary now-- still a fun flick

high-faloot'n-look'n-down-my-nose canidate: Birth of a Nat...errrNineth Configuration Symbolic cinematography, psycological mind fvck from the 70's where the conflict was the ultimate price (think Deliverance not Independance Day)

for the hockey fan (helps if you dig the 50's too): Net Worth synopsis:Ted Lindsey is the FVCK'N man / Howe is a pussy.
