I think the issue the PO of the Brutale was the service for MV in the area was less than desireable.  But yep, to each his own.... I sat on the Brutale and it didn't feel comfy to me at all.  The SF though did.

Of course none of these new bikes can touch the iconic look of the Tamburini line of 916/996/998.  I'm saving up for one of those bad boys [thumbsup]

+1 on the Supermono.  I think that bike was one of the first designs Pierre Terblanche did for Ducati.  Could be totally wrong on that one but I seem to remember something along those lines.

Yep Terblache designed the Supermono... sub 300lb dry weight  :o
