Anyone have any experience with Xelement gear? Very reasonably priced at Myleather.com. I am planning on buying a full set of gear from them. Just wanted to see if it was total junk(from experience) or not.

was wearing their boots in a wreck. no serious damage to me and the boots are still usable even after getting my foot slammed between a rail and the bike.
their summer mesh jacket is nice in hot areas. but their winter jacket was cut too big.
basically decent stuff, but not the best or even middle of the road. but it will protect you.
just make sure you plan ahead for sizing issues. try it on when it arrives and don't think a L in one style will be the same size as a L in another.

I ordered some Xelement textile pants through Leatherup.  Though the belly/hip area fit well (wearing as overpants), the legs were way too baggy and the adjustment method at the calves was very poor.  I returned them and ordered a different style.  Finish quality appeared to be OK.

Well, I ended up ordering just some under armor from leatherup.com. I'll let you know how it turs out. Only $60! Although, with a $300 at Myleather.com(their wholesale site), the price is only $35. I'll order the rest of my gear in about a month from myleather.com.

Got my first piece of Xelement gear(http://www.leatherup.com/p/Xelement-Mens-Motorcycle-Jackets/Polycarbonate-Elastic-Full-Body-Motorcycle-Venom-Armor/54621.html). Seems like really good quality for the money, but it was sixe XL and WAAAYY to small. I'll have to exchange it. I had to call Myleather.com and resize the other jackets to 2XL. Hopefully they will be a better fit.

Normally XL. I do have a leather jacket that is size 2XL, but that is because I was warned ahead of time that particular jacket runs small. Still it's slightly large on me.

actually that's gut armor. a lot of internal injuries happen when someone get hit in the gut with a handlebar or something else. I think there was a member last year that had her spleen ruptured in Italy. sorry for not remembering who and the details, but armor like this may have helped.

but isnt that a rare thing? i think your upper body, ribs/lungs are in more danger than your lower abdominals.

been in the ER twice once from a highside once from a slide... both times they wanted to check with ultrasound for internal abdominal injuries. kind of a standard check.

Got two more Xelement items today https://www.myleather.com/site/product?pid=50225 and https://www.myleather.com/site/product?pid=51711. The boots are too tight to wear, and slightly blemmed. Hopefully I can exchange them for a larger size(even though MyLeather states no exchanges except for damaged goods). The pants fit fine, seems like nice quality too. Especially for $40. I ordered them a size larger than normal as suggested by MyLeather.

Leatherup.com is the retail store front. They have an easy exchange policy. Myleather.com is the wholesale store front, they have a no exchange/return policy.

QuoteQ: Do you offer an Exchange or Return Policy?
A: We do not offer a return or exchange policy. As the prices for our products are reasonably low, we cannot offer this type of service. In order to keep wholesale prices low we have decided to pass along the savings rather then charge for a service that is seldom used by most wholesalers. We will exchange an item(s) if it is found to be damaged within 5 business days from the date the product was delivered. You will need to contact our customer service department and inform them of the problem found with the product. All items will be inspected upon delivery to our warehouse.

Finally got the rest of my gear from Myleather.com. Very nice for the money. The sizing is a little inconsistent on one jacket, but better too big than too small.

$52-This jacket fits perfect in 2XL. Nicely made too. The matching pants I ordered in 38 [bang], but no way they will fit. I might have to sell them and order a size 40 set at leatherup.com

$56-This one was a bit on the large side for me and will probably be replaced when(if) I lose some weight. Very well made though.

$20-These gloves are awesome! They fit perfectly. The knuckle protector is a little tight on one knuckle, but nothing too uncomfortable.
