So I bought a bike from Erico in 2006 and swore I would never be back after some very bad exchanges with sales, parts and service.   I moved away for a couple of years and then come back to Colorado.  I heard that the owner fired 90% of the people and remade the place.

I went in for some service after speaking speaking John the owner last week.

I have to say, they really have changed.  I got outstanding service, a great deal on some new gear, etc.   I dont know if it was the change in employees, or the change in attitude driven by a down economy, but the end result was excellent.

I will shop there again.
If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.

Well my experience has been that the guy doesn't remember me, even though I bought my 999S there.  It seems that every time I stop in, I'm a fresh face to him or anyone else there.

YMMV.

Fresh Pants

Well, I've been recognized by a few of the sales staff because I like going in there to look and sit on things, in addition to sitting on bikes.  [cheeky] But I haven't bought a bike from them. Maybe if you don't buy a bike from them, they'll remember you?

I still buy the occasional part/T-shirt/gear from them if the price is reasonable.

That was one of the reasons I stopped going.  4 days after I bought the bike, the sales guy who sold it to me didnt remember me.

I had a similar experience. Occasionally I buy parts from them, but I try to do all my business up at Northern or at BMS.

I appreciate their effort to respond to customer concerns, and your comments on their progress, so next time I'm around there I'll stop in and check them out again.
