So for those who struggle with their own motivation and are on the end of the spectrum of needing to change springs out on the bike...

Anyone else slide backwards a little over the holidays?

Back to October size yet?

What's the 2010 plan?  any goals?

Little tiny changes can add up...parking on top floor of garage at work and taking stairs daily..two pieces of pizza instead of five.

So let's have at it and drop a couple thousand pounds off the DMF membership...

Ugh.

I ate and drank my way through Portland and Boston over the last week and a half and haven't run since before Christmas. Not quite back to summer size, but softer than I want to be.

Goal for right now is to be running 15 miles per week before St. Patty's Day. Probably gonna try to give up soda, too.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

I haven't bothered to get on a scale after 10 days of drinking and eating with only a few runs scattered in there.  I had dropped ten pounds before the holidays, so hopefully it didn't all come back.

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken

I am stunned by how easy and how FAST pounds of softness can come on.

ok ok...two slices per beer then.

so if i down 4 beers in a sitting then i get 8 slices...depending on the pizza, that's the whole thing!
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

Seriously, when i am 800years old i want to rock like Lemmy! it is a religion that requires lots of determination, drugs, and Marshall stacks.

I've been lame since the holidays. Just...absolutely slacking in every way possible.

Now for some soda.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I was down to 183 from 205 at the beginning of the holidays. The scale today read 188.8. My ass needs to go to the gym.

Pregnancy has definitely made it tougher to keep working out...my stamina and energy levels are way down.

I still get 4 miles of hilly walking and/or jogging with the dogs most days though...thanks Watson and Grover!

I've been trying to do more than that when I can (bicycling, weights, karate) but it's not been happening as much as I'd like.

I'm hoping I get some more energy back 2nd trimester.

i'm currently doing yoga 4-6 days a week and i'm on week two of the couch-to-5k running plan.

i haven't really set a weight goal, but i want to get back to running 4.5mi daily (5 days a week). everything else seemed to fall into place when i was doing that.
