"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

That V50 is very nice looking.

however the front brake splitter mounted on the frame makes me very nervous for some reason.

The custom calipers themselves look a little flimsy but still... a beautiful machine.

I think that (was) pretty common.

Same setup on the Ducati Pantah and Cagiva Alazzurra

The pressure switch is mounted in it on those.

I seem to remember on the Guzzis the brakes were configured funny, like the pedal was the front left and the hand grip was the front right and rear, but don' quote me.

The pedal was left front and rear, the hand was right front. It was a treacherous system. I never understood why the bike would pull to one side or the other depending on which front disc was active, butt in rainy weather it would drop you like a rock.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

How about this variant from Tesio? Derby? I love it.
