I see lesser brakes than the real thing should have, a little piece of tube towards the back that I assume is trellis which should'nt be there and the swingarm is the plain jane type I have.

Yeah, forks, rotors, wheels, hugger, pipe routing, sprocket cover, rearsets, monster swingarm, ... Proportions look close, but the body itself looks slightly... off.  i stare at an actual desmo every saturday at the shop during burga time.

More like a VW Bug with a Porsche 550 Spyder body kit.  I've actually seen those.

yeah, but those can be cool.  bore and stroke the engine to 2.2L and add forced induction and it can blow a real Spyder off the road.. :D
