Never seen the Vyrus/Tesi before?

But I don't understand the top bike, which has what looks like an oil cooler behind front wheel (fine and dandy) but also a radiator mounted low on the side (don't low side!) - It appears to be a radiator and has blue tubing and bent tubing, but notice, the alternator side cover is an air-cooled and not watercooled side. So its appears not to be based on an ST2 water-cooled motor, and not sure what pumps the coolant?  Perhaps its a secondary oversized oil cooler, but the line size seems wrong. Something has to disperse the heat on a 984, that's for sure.
Note the inscription on the front swingarm (front swingarm?!? did I just say that?): "983C3.4V" - It's a Desmoquattro water pumper, I think, but bedamnedifIknow where a 982 cc 4-valve Ducati engine came from....

I see now that its a 4V, but that doesn't lend any additional info as to where it might be pumping from. I see no waterpump, just some odd tubing going sideways across the alternator cover. It looks like that bike would be a REAL pregnant dog to work on. More so than nearly any other DB-series Bimota that could be serviced at a Ducati dealer without much need for a shop manual.

Correct restoration, as far as I can tell. That is a desmodromic 450. Don't know what I'd do with it.

Now, if i found a 1974 450 Desmo:

it would be all over.

Well, of course that's not the original seat. The original seat did not provide storage space for a brick. [laugh]
