Mods done to the Legend before Ouray:
Kawasaki ZX9R rear shock
Added 2 1/2" inches of spring pre-load to the front end
Lowered the forks another 0.400" in the triples
Completed my modified 3-into-1 exhaust system w/the Remus can.

The poor Michelin man...destroyed...  What did he ever do to me?!?  [evil]

You need to ride this thing Anson...  It's soooo much better than it looks like it would be!
Ahhh... well from what you listed, compared to the last time I saw it I'm not surpised. I remember sitting on it reminded me of my old land ladies El Dorado Barritz... a '76 I believe it was. You sank into it the same way.  [laugh] Nicely done though, it's always fun when the unexpected comes smokin around a corner keeping up with bikes it has no business keeping up with. I've always been a fan of sleepers.

I rode Stu's Trumpet.  It's actually quite fun once you get used to the upright riding position (which took about three turns).  It feels like a heavy, mushy dirtbike.....you attack the turns and square them off rather than plowing into them like you would on a sportbike.    ;)  Nice engine...plenty of torque on tap down low and smooth 'til the power drops off near redline.

All-in-all, the bike feels pretty good with its pipe on the ground, or passing your own MH900e on the outside of a left hander...until you spot a deer on the side of the road.   [evil] :o [moto] [bacon]
Never appeal to a man's "better nature."  He may not have one.  Invoking his self-interest gives you more leverage.  R.A. Heinlein

Good ol' Bunny.  I know you enjoyed her Cream Puff, too.  Never realized she was a cougar at the time.

A few photos I grabbed from Barbara's camera:

Nobody said that I did. Everyone says that I would.

I'm thinking the Dragon will still be seeing use. It will be a more ridable bike, for normal usage. I'm thinking of building a beast. Something fast and pretty dedicated. I am thinking the that the Dragon may see use as a loaner for outta town without bike peeps as well. I know you'll probably hate the idea of others on him but hey.  [drool] I'm a droolng idiot.  [laugh]
