i may bring the ol' battleax with me. she likes wings and since we are headed to the lumberjack hooters, i figure they'll have some. but if the olympics are on, or threaten to be on, she will not leave the couch.

Also, after the lunch, I may go bother McFly downtown if one feels inclined to ride the tollway down and act fancy at the dealership. I'm going to inquire 'whensabout' they plan on getting the grill out for Saturday burgers.

And then when I return home, I'm taking the aluminum template undertail I've made, and mocking it up against the carbon fiber I've got, making a bracket for the fusebox out of the carbon fiber angle, and hopefully putting it all together. plastic, be gone!

Updated pics coming soon. Anyone have a tripod I can borrow? I want to do some HDR photography of the bike on the SMU boulevard (its quite scenic, y'know) with Dallas Hall in the background.

Not a whole lot has really changed. Still haven't gotten around to rebuilding the 6-pot rotors (going to be quite spendy to do so), and the airbox/carbs are still stock. Can't decide on whether to go to pods and lose a smidge of performance for looks, or rebuild airbox out of carbon fiber for weight/looks and retain benefits of a large airbox (large volumes of still air is valuable for intake performance on large-displacement, few cylinder bikes - each intake pull per 452cc cylinder requires lots of 'still air') - Not enough funds to switch to FCR's just yet either. BOMB submittal will wait until that stuff is sorted out, engine is painted and cams are in. And maybe wheels.  Also, a better job to fund these things is in order.
