I remember the day I slapped a quartet of Keihin 33mm smoothbores on my '82 Suzook GS1000S Katana Yosh SBK look-a-like. Still have it in a storage unit collecting dust. Old school Yosh 4into1, Yosh Stage 1 cam set, EPM mag wheels, etc... hmmm, who gets that one in my will?

Good luck with the install and jetting. Oh... and stock up on Sta-Bil if you haven't already. Today's gas and carbed bikes don't go well if it sits for a week plus. I have a big sticky note on the Kawi ZRX1200R tank that I write the last start up date on in case I loose track. If I haven't ridden it in a week or so I start it every 6-8 days, run it up to operating temp and run a few float bowls of Sta-Bil'd gas through it and jot down the date. It's the only running carbed bike I have. Wish I had that stuff in the 70s and 80s, but back then the gas wasn't that bad and wouldn't crap your carbs in 2 weeks like now!

Oh... and is that an early birthday present for yourself? Like I always say (and William will concur ) the best b-day present is the one you get yourself!!

Definitely!!! I may have to wait another year for my annual birthday bike, but that gives me more time to choose.
