goods times. cheers for that guys n girl.

goldfish, thanks for fangin off without me at road warriors! I never found you guys on the way home obviously, took me another 2 mins before I left, I guess that was enough for me to lose you guys heading to mecca :)
cheeky buggers

I want MY TERMIS!

Sorry Luke, we were just putting along for a couple of kilometres, thought you'd catch us there, and then maybe again at the brigde..
As you will discover, if you want to at least try to stay with big and zee, you better be ready to leave when they do.  ;D

We needed to bugger off in a hurry, as mecca was about to close. In the end, no espresso anyways (but instead spent some time with the lads cupping their latest roasting efforts)

Good  day people, good to see everyone safe and home!

i turned onto the freeway, then after a few minutes realised there was no way in hell you guys where on the freeway and that I had gone the boring way home. hahaha so no probs - great ride!!!
looking forward to the next one!  [moto]

Hi Everyone,

What a great day - bit cold to start with but then it just got better. Thanks for the cool photos Matty - excellent!

Just as an aside - I left my back protector at the Wollombi pub so I had to go back and get it this morning - What a great day and the ride from Peats Ridge to Wollombi and back was excellent - It was a bit warmer today and I knew where the dirt bits and potholes were so went harder - Then back to Syd via the Old Rd and it was a blast.

Thanks again for organising it and I look forward to the next ride!  [thumbsup] [moto]

I enjoyed the day, it was fun, and I told Goldie I was going to hang back, 'cos I know mi bikes needs a bit 'o' work, fun though wannit?

By the time I did get home (18:00) I realised I have a bit of maintenance to do, starting at the front of the bike and working backwards;

* left fork seal blown
* throttle sticking (like cruise control)
* left front indicator out
* side stand lost its base
* chain U/S
* cush drives ditto
* replace rear wheel bearings while the wheel is out
* ditto for sprockets

So a little work to do eh?

                                              Mmick
This won't hurt much.... Trust me......

Re the hanging at the back of the pack, I knew that was horse shit the moment it came out of your mouth!

Not that I'm any expert in dry clutches (or wet ones either for that matter) but there was a little chat on Sat about your noisy clutch and a suggestion from someone that it may be the original plates and basket..

Did I just make your list longer?

And yeah, was a fun day!

Jukie

Thanks All,

The weather was great as well as the company, so thanks for putting up with me and my illness and whining and Jukie's new voice. It was a long,put fanstic day. I remeber looking behind me at the start of the trip and seeing all those monster in a row and it was sssssooooo unreal, just looked great.  So thanks all.

Mmick if that was hanging back I'd like to see (for a brief moment) going like a bat outta hell.......
Cause from where I was riding most-a-da-day I could either see or smell the 900 somewhere.

       Dont make my lis any longer, so the clutch is an original one and it hooks up fine thanks.

And I only went to the front to have a little look to see what was happening

I have the fork seals, also wheel bearings, but what is the best way to extract those 'orrible cush drives? The indicator will just be a small wiring problem, so whats the G.O. with chain and sprockets Dock ?

The Cush Drives are easy - you just need to have a large allan key - In my case a 12mm - not sure with yours but not hard to change out.

And yes - Mmick your clutch is a bit on the noisy side - but these things seem to last much longer than you expect......be careful though as we will hear your clutch before your bike soon [cheeky]
