Rev'It making Ducati branded gear now?

i was just looking at some of the new Multistrada line of gear. A jacket caught my eye, so I was taking a closer look thanks the the zoom function on the page.
I noticed some things that are straight from Rev'Its line of ADV gear. For example, if you look at the collar you'll see a snap closure that's on a multi stop tack, and a hook and loop set up to hold to collar open. Couple other details look like rev'It work.

Anyone have any info on this?

Looking at other stuff on the site, all the non Multistrada jackets are still Dainese made stuff - wonder why the Multi stuff seems not to be...

Yes, the collar is identical to Rev'it's - probably is a Rev'it product. Nice jacket and the laminated membrane is sooo much better than the loose hanging ones.

The Strada Tour GT is still Dainese, but I'd say Ducati is sleeping around ;)

Other than the strange sizing, Rev'it stuff is AWESOME. This could be interesting.

I've had very mixed results with Rev'It.

A friend is a rep for Rev-it. I'll see what he knows.

Do share please. Other than trying stuff on and an unhealthy obsession with their adv stuff, I've got no FHE - so I'm curious

The advrider has a number of user reviews on Rev'It.  Here's a preloaded google search that might narrow things down:

Just got a mail back from my friend. He no longer works for them but he did hear, before he left, some talk of them making Duc branded stuff.

Sorry I couldn't get definitive info.

Well between the internal chatter, and the 'finger prints' on that jacket, I'm thinking they are.

Hmmm, wonder if the Rev'it made jackets will be fitted with zippers to mate to Dianese made pants... oh a boy can dream.

oh that would be just too convenient and easy.. you know they aren't going to zip together by any chance... no way how else are they going to get you to buy the new pants to go with the new jacket by the new brand?  [clap]

Slide Panda

Oh yeah that would be all too easy.

Why must they taunt us so

I know it's been 2 months, but...

at store.ducatiusa.com it says "waist zipper matches any Ducati Pants," so theoretically should be good with any of their britches.

Personally, I don't imagine the Strada Tech I looked at today is nearly as good as a Rev 'It Cayenne Pro jacket for hundreds less. Come to that, I'd take a Rev 'It Sand over it, too, and that's even less expensive.

Note, too, that the Strada Tour jacket specifies that it's made by Dainese.

Something is going on.....

Last time we spoke about this, some of the MultiStrada line was clearly Rev'it. If you follow the link on top of this thread you find a jacket very similar to the one currently on offer by Ducati. One of it's pictures has the typical Rev'it collar adjuster, but if you click "zoom" the jacket is suddenly different.

To me, it seems Rev'it was in, but are now out.

Politics? Business games?  [roll]

I'm not seeing what you're seeing. I went to the link I posted and clicked the 'zoom' and it's the same jacket. There's actually two version of the jacket on that page - perhaps you're looking at the second?

The 1st, which has 'GORE-TEX' embroidered on the waist, and two stripes that run the full length of the back has all the normal Rev-it collar gizzys. The 2nd, doesn't have 'GORE-TEX' on it, the stripes on the back run only part way, and has red piping - does NOT have the fancy collar stuff. But as I give it another look - I think what I took to be a 2nd jacket is actually the liner for the jacket.

So I don't think there's any sort of shens afoot at all.
