In other news...

IRL is at Barber today.

I was driving home from the grocery store about 40mins ago and was passing over the I-270 bridge and this girl had her hazards on and was jumping up and down in the street for someone to stop. Everyone passed her by, but actually contrary to most beliefs, I am nice and quickly and safely pull over in my car.

Turns out this 16 year old, driving only 2.5mons ran out of gas and didn't have her mobile phone. I'd believe all of this based on, well, how the discussion started. I let her use my phone to call home, but Mom wasn't there. Mom didn't answer mobile either. Felt worse for her.

I told her I literally lived around the corner and would grab my gas can, drive a half mile up the road and bring her some fuel. She seemed quite happy and offered some money, but I declined.

10 minutes later, her Neon has one gallon of fuel and a happy 16yr old. I declined the money again and told her I ran out of gas 2 times on my Moto last year and I am almost 30. She laughed and parted ways.


Glad she got home safely and hopefully learned a lesson about gas.

I was hoping it would be worth 2 since it was darkout and not in an ideal safety location.

I was going to pop a few flares, but then realized my emergency roadside bin was in my Garage and not in the Lexus (we picked up a new recliner the other day and I had to take it out so the chair would fit).

I put it back in the car as soon as I got home.
