We are currently on severe power restrictions on the island which equates to about 4-6 hours of power each day. And of course you never know when that supply will be (Morning, noon or night). They have also thrown in a few long outages just to make it interesting (31 hours and 25 hours with no power).   

But all in all we are surviving extremely well. Just makes getting any Wi-Fi access a nightmare. But hey, it is surprising what you can do without you are forced to.

PS: The Thunder Monster still works very well without any power and a tank of juice lasts a couple of weeks so all gooood...

Great news is my Filipino residency has been approved officially. We go to
Manila on Sunday and get my ACR (identity card) and next week I become
a Filipino.

Saw my second Ducati here the other day. And it was just up the road from the cottage. The guy flew past me on what looked like an 1100 Monster. Tried to catch him but the poor old Thunder Monster was no match. Man it looked big next to the Thunder Monster. Shall have to track this guy down, if he is still on the island.
