Speaking of Guzzis (yeah a minor threadjack, sorry   ), I've been experimenting with three Power Commander maps that I downloaded from a Guzzi V11 forum.  Having ridden around all day trying the different maps, I've narrowed it down to one that performs reeasonable well across the entire rev range.  

What I'm wondering is if anyone coming to lunch tomorrow has any experience reading Power Commander maps (charts)?  I'd like to bring all three maps and have someone with more FHE s'plain all d'im l'il numbers to me      I can see how I could make a hybrid map using the first part of one map to cover idle - 4,000 rpm, with pieces from the others to work on 4,000 - 6,000, and then a bit of another map that works great in the 6,000 - 8,5000.  Combined all together, I'll have one big, bad ass, gas-guzzling Guzzi Map From Hell.

OK, deleted my "not going" post. Still busy as hell but I deserve a short ride and lunch w/friends. Especially since there will be no riding allowed this weekend due to some sort of holiday and invasion of in-laws at our house for Honey Glazed ham. I seemed to have pulled the short straw and get to do all the yard work (before it rains on Friday), all of the indoor house cleaning and (just for fun ) get all our tax stuff together and take it to our CPA in Ft. Worth. Again, I'm making time for lunch today.
