It's not like I haven't heard that before. [laugh] I take that as a compliment since the Aprils Fool bs accomplished it's mission. [cheeky]

Well hell I just found out my wife's inheritance just got through probate. I was thinking of a 750ss.

Sorry, I only have a '77 900SS, no 750SS bikes. It's a parts box jobber but it is a Berliner Import with the left hand shift conversion/jack shaft set up to comply with the new (back then) Federal left hand shift rules. Had the motor completely rebuilt with Imola cams and had the gearbox gears under cut. The motor is still in the same shipping crate I built for it in the 80's. Can you say time capsule? ;D

Brian,
Just saw this and wanted you to know I support your decision to follow your bliss. In fact, I have decided to resume my concert career after all these years. What will the price range of your violins be? I was wondering if you might consider building a bespoke little number in carbon fiber?  [laugh]

(I know it was a joke, but I believe, like Christmas, we should share the spirit of April's Fools Day the whole year 'round!) [beer] [moto]

You know I got a little excited and meant to say 900ss. That is THE bike that got me into Ducati in the first place. If there was ever a bike that I would give it up for that's the one.

[laugh]  [laugh]  Yeah, I suppose that's true.  Maybe I can cobble them both together to make one running bike.  Nah, what are the chances...?  Wait a minute... your '74 Le Mans has exactly the same parts as my 2002?!
